Milky Way at Blue Lakes

Viewing the Milky Way at Blue Lakes (CA) offers exceptional, dark-sky, high-alpine conditions, particularly in late summer. The best, clearest views are found by visiting during a new moon and avoiding periods with high haze or smoke. Unfortunately, clouds came during our field trip.
